Are you a person with leadership qualities who has yet to find the opportunity to develop your full potential? We at Customer Experience are now looking for our next Operations Leader. This is a perfect opportunity for you who want to grow in leadership and see yourself in a managerial position in the future.
If you have visited IKEA, you have met us within Customer Experience. We meet our customers in several places in the store. At the entrance, we welcome and hand out yellow bags. In the children's area Småland, we take care of our youngest customers. At the checkouts, we ensure that you can pay for your finds. Then, if something has gone wrong, we assist you via Customer Service. Our common goal is to create a fantastic experience for our customers!
As an Operations Leader, you ensure that your colleagues in the function have the right conditions. You succeed by helping out when and where needed. This can involve everything from coaching your colleagues and assisting with customer inquiries to providing technical support and corrections. As an Operations Leader, you are also responsible for daily staffing, allocating resources, and ensuring good rotation. You will learn everything that this entails!
You will have scheduled shifts both as an Operations Leader and as a team member. In your role, you will have your own area of responsibility where some administrative time is included (about 2 hours/week).
Who are you
As a person, you are someone who gains energy from other people and eventful days. When things are happening, you focus on solutions and how we can move forward together. You love meeting customers and colleagues, and you have the ability to give feedback in a way that inspires development.
To succeed in this role, you need to have basic computer skills. Mastery of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form is a must, but if you speak more languages than Swedish and English, that is a plus!

The position is a permanent employment of 30.75 hours per week. In this role, shifts vary between 06:00-19:45 with approximately 2-3 evenings a week and every other weekend. Start date according to agreement.
