Assistant Restaurant Managers Wanted

We are now looking for 3 Assistant Restaurant Managers for our restaurant operations. In the role of Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work in our fantastic restaurant Terassen with a view of Bråviken, managing both conference lunches and dinners for both conference and private guests.

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will work closely with the Restaurant Manager and be an important part of the daily operations. You will lead the team during your shifts and ensure that work flows according to established routines. With a strong guest focus, you contribute to high service quality, good order, and a positive experience for both guests and employees. The role also includes handling guest inquiries, supporting opening and closing, and adjusting staffing and work distribution as needed. You will have personnel responsibility for the department's seasonal employees, where you will be responsible for aspects such as work environment, recruitment, and employee conversations.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you are responsible for leading and supporting the team in daily operations and ensuring that guests receive a professional and friendly welcome. You do this by ensuring that all your employees have the right training for their work. You distribute tasks, follow up on service, order, and quality, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment. You work in daily operations alongside your colleagues, where you will also be responsible for training new employees and supporting the Restaurant Manager with certain tasks, especially during busy periods.

Who You Are

We are looking for someone who thrives in an operational role where pace, responsibility, and collaboration are a natural part of the job. You are service-oriented, solution-focused, and have a positive attitude. You are unpretentious, communicative in your demeanor, and have an easy time motivating your employees and creating security within the team.

You have experience from the restaurant, café, or service industry and are used to working with the guest in focus. For this role, it is required that you have previous experience in personnel and work environment responsibility, work leadership, and change management. You also have a good ability to work in a structured manner even in a high-paced environment.

About the Position

The position is a permanent employment of 100%. Salary according to the collective agreement reached between Vista-Unionen. A probationary period applies. The last application date is 2026-01-31.
