As a church caretaker with us, you contribute to creating beautiful and welcoming church environments both outdoors in the cemetery and indoors in the church and parish hall.

Main responsibilities:

• Maintenance of ongoing cemetery operations
• Service during church services and ecclesiastical acts such as weddings, baptisms, and funerals. You will be responsible for preparations, handling sound/light, and ringing the bells
• Basic property maintenance
• Cleaning of the church and associated properties
• Other usual caretaker duties according to the job description

Desired profile of the applicant:

To be a positive, self-driven, and responsible colleague who works well both solo and in a team. Providing good service, being solution-oriented, and acting professionally are important in this role.

Requirements, experience, and education:

To apply for the position, you must meet two basic requirements:

• Driver's license B
• Membership in the Church of Sweden

Meritorious:

• Certification for brush cutters, chainsaws, or lift certificates
• Experience with minor repairs and maintenance of motorized gardening tools, riding lawnmowers, etc.
• Previous employment in park management/green area operations

We apply a 6-month probationary period followed by a permanent employment.
