Are you an engaged care assistant who is passionate about making a difference? Now you have the chance to be involved from the start and leave your mark on Askenäs, our newly renovated care and nursing home! Here you will have the opportunity to influence, develop, and contribute to creating a warm and pleasant environment for our residents.
About the Position
At Askenäs in Odensbacken, you will be welcomed by bright, newly renovated facilities and four pleasant departments – Björken and Almen (cognitive impairment) as well as Eken and Lönnen (somatic care). A total of 38 residents live here, and we are here for them every day.

The tasks are varied and meaningful, where care, cleaning, kitchen responsibilities, and delegated medication management are mixed with activities such as chair exercises, crossword puzzles, bingo, and table bowling. When the weather permits, we enjoy taking walks in the beautiful natural surroundings. As a contact person, you will also have a bit of extra responsibility for two of our residents, which provides a great opportunity to build close relationships.
With us, you will have a job that truly makes a difference – every day! Welcome to a safe, cheerful, and developing work team where we believe in collaboration, care, and joy at work.
Examples of Tasks:
- Support residents in daily activities and engagement in a pedagogical manner
- Perform care tasks and, based on delegation, some medication management
- Plan and develop work independently and together with the work group
- Collaborate with relatives and others in the resident's network such as nurses, occupational therapists, and other actors, e.g., the region
- Document regularly in the organization's documentation system and review existing documentation
