The park operations include planning as well as the operation and maintenance of the municipality's parks, nature and green areas, and playgrounds. There is also a greenhouse facility where the municipality's summer flowers are grown.

The goal of our operations is to create a good quality of life for citizens and visitors, with beautiful, accessible, and pleasant environments that are constantly evolving. In your work, you will help create Luleå's green meeting places. Together, we create a more beautiful city both in summer and winter!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a seasonal park worker, tasks include greenhouse cultivation, planting summer flowers, maintaining flower beds and green areas, park cleanliness, playground maintenance, and more. We have assignments throughout Luleå Municipality, and the geographical workplace and tasks may vary during the season based on the needs that arise.

We work outdoors in all weather conditions. The work can be physically demanding at times.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a high school education and an interest in park work. Previous experience in similar tasks and relevant education, as well as computer skills, are advantageous.

As a park worker at Luleå Municipality, you are the face of the municipality. This means you should be a social and outgoing person who finds it easy to meet our citizens. You can work both independently and together with others.

The work as a park worker requires good physical fitness. To understand work and safety instructions, it is important that you have sufficient knowledge of the Swedish language.

A manual transmission B driver's license is a requirement.

The employment period is 1-6 months, with a start date between April and June depending on where the position is located.
