Introduction

WSP is involved in many exciting community development projects, and we are pleased to have the opportunity to influence how a sustainable society can be designed. To meet the increasing demand for our services, we now need to expand our Community Design section with landscape engineers located in the North. We have offices in Luleå, Skellefteå, Umeå, Örnsköldsvik, Sundsvall, and Östersund.

About the Position

We are now looking for you who are a landscape engineer or designer in land development. You will be part of a group with broad expertise in land and construction technology.

We collaborate within the department and nationally within landscape but also work with other technical areas, both within and outside the section.

You will work and develop together with competent colleagues and have the support of project managers who are responsible for finances and client contact as well as technical managers. The assignments consist of new residential areas, schools, preschools, public spaces, industries, and street environments, and you will participate in all stages, from preliminary studies and early investigations to construction documents and follow-up of the construction phase. Many assignments also include coordination with our international colleagues.

We see that you, as our next landscape engineer, are driven and eager to develop, and with the right support from the organization, you have ambitions to grow into a technical manager or project manager in the assignments. If you are already a technical manager and/or project manager, that is an extra merit, but absolutely not a requirement as we are looking for both junior and experienced resources.

Your Profile

To be successful in this role, we believe you have a relevant university, college, or engineering degree. Since the tasks center around communication and coordination with colleagues in different departments and between countries, we see that your social skills are essential for this position.

You enjoy working collaboratively with others and can adapt your communication for dialogue with colleagues at various levels within the company. You are social and service-oriented and interested in business development to contribute to innovation and thus always provide our clients with quality-assured deliveries.

We Offer

WSP develops creative, comprehensive, and sustainable technical solutions for the communities of the future. Thanks to our deep understanding of the local community, world-class talents, and proactive leadership, we can plan and design long-lasting and effective solutions to unique, complex problems in infrastructure and urban development.

At WSP, we have the resources and expertise required to drive larger multidisciplinary assignments. To succeed, we are convinced that collaboration yields better results and more satisfied employees. Through our national and global networks, we have quick access to specialist expertise across our entire business area and the company as a whole. Working at WSP leads to stimulating opportunities to be an active part of a leading global company with a strong foothold in the Swedish market.

To match the high demand for our services, we are now looking for more landscape engineers and designers who want to help secure the future of the world together at WSP!

WSP Community Design

WSP's national section Community Design offers a range of environmental and sustainability services within community development, focusing on infrastructure and physical planning. Examples of services include design programs, land and landscape design, environmental assessments and EIA, sustainability assessments, social impact assessments, cultural heritage investigations, location studies, and GIS analyses.

We work on large, complex assignments together with other competencies and technical areas within WSP, as well as in smaller and more niche assignments within our respective areas of expertise. We are passionate about sustainable communities, and our varying profiles and experiences allow us to complement, develop, and challenge each other. In addition to sustainability, professionalism, job satisfaction, and an open atmosphere are central values for us.

Application Deadline Selection is ongoing, but we would like to receive your application no later than February 28, 2026.
