At Kallebäcks boende, the target group consists of men and women aged 50 and over with care needs and active dependencies. Many of our residents suffer from mental health issues as a result of their dependency or dependency due to their mental health issues.

Responsibilities

You will be an important part of our team and actively contribute to creating a positive and inclusive environment. We value initiative and a pedagogical approach where you help residents participate in their own care and home. Your work will include:

• Supporting residents with daily activities and needs.
• Carrying out medical tasks according to current routines and guidelines.
• Working to create a calm and safe atmosphere where every resident feels seen and heard.
• Communicating with other healthcare staff and other partners to ensure continuous and high-quality care.
• Documenting and reporting any changes in residents' conditions.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with training as a nursing assistant or support assistant.

We consider it an advantage if you have previous work experience with the target group or as a nursing assistant/support assistant. If you have a B driver's license, we see it as an advantage.

You are friendly and helpful to others even in stressful situations. You show respect for everyone you meet at work. You are inviting and positive. You work to ensure that our residents get what they need. You can change how you work when things change. You can quickly adjust your perspective and approach and see opportunities in changes. You have a good understanding of how individuals absorb knowledge and their different conditions. You adapt the way you convey your message to the recipient and encourage dialogue, participation, and engagement.

About Us

The Social Administration South-West is one of four social administrations in the City of Gothenburg with around 900 employees. In the South-West urban area, about 120,000 residents live, and the area extends from Billdal to Högsbohöjd and to the southern archipelago.
