Within Alleima, there is Operations Maintenance that works towards the steel mill in Sandviken. The department conducts preventive and corrective maintenance with its own resources and coordinates other resources. Operations Maintenance has a close collaboration with and participates in the operational activities. We are now looking for a shift electrician (5-shift) who wants to help lead the work towards better and more efficient production.

Your Role

As a shift electrician, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of production equipment with the aim of increasing or maintaining operational reliability, TAK value, and cost-effectiveness. You will work alongside a mechanic and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance. If necessary, you will also be responsible for planned maintenance jobs and the management of contractor actions.

Common tasks include:

• Support the planning and preparation process with technical knowledge and help provide the customer with the best possible conditions for efficient production.
• Manage work orders in our maintenance system.
• Carefully document your completed work.
• Act as a sounding board and support the rest of the maintenance organization.

Furthermore, we see that you are self-driven and motivated by contributing to finding solutions to problems. The work pattern is currently 5-shift but may change according to the needs of the business.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a high school education with a technical focus, preferably in electrical engineering, or you have acquired equivalent skills through previous work experience. Experience in mechanical maintenance work within the industry is considered an advantage. You have good basic knowledge of relevant IT systems and are well-versed in reading technical drawings. You speak and write fluently in Swedish. Since we work in an international environment, we would also like you to have good knowledge of English.

You are proactive and, with good collaboration skills, maintain a high and professional level. You communicate well with clients and colleagues to solve specific and complex tasks, while also being service-oriented and always keeping the customer in focus.
