Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to provide all residents of Kronoberg County with specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

The rehabilitation clinic is a specialist service for individuals over 18 years old in need of rehabilitation after somatic illness or injury. With a focus on quality of life and a holistic view, we offer individualized interventions. The most common diagnosis groups in the neuro unit are stroke, brain injury, multi-trauma, or leg amputation. Our strength lies in working in interdisciplinary teams, where you and the patient participate in the team together with doctors, psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and nursing staff. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As an occupational therapist at the rehabilitation clinic, you will work with:

• assessing and evaluating the patient's previous and current performance in areas of personal care, housing, work, and leisure
• relearning or teaching a new way to perform tasks and activities
• compensating for reduced activity ability
• modifying daily activities based on the patient's current situation

The training takes place at the clinic, often in one of our beautiful training environments, such as our garden, kitchen, computer room, or workshop. It can also occur in the patient's living environment and in the community.

QUALIFICATIONS

You who are applying should be a licensed occupational therapist. We prefer that you have an interest in rehabilitation.

You are a responsible person who enjoys working in an interdisciplinary team where collaboration and collective learning are in focus. Your sensitivity to the needs and conditions of others, along with your ability to motivate and support individuals towards a better everyday life, are important qualities in this role. You have a solution-focused approach and the ability to contribute ideas and solutions in development work.

As our clinic is in a phase of change, it is important that you are comfortable with change, can adapt to altered conditions, and contribute to a stable work environment. You have good collaboration skills and contribute with engagement towards our common goals.
