JOB DESCRIPTION

Are you looking for a summer job? We want to sneak-start your future career as a nurse by offering you the opportunity for a summer job with us this summer.

If you are in your 4th or 5th semester, or if you are a trained nursing assistant studying in the nursing program, you are welcome to apply for a summer job with us at Växjö municipality.

You will work with extended delegation in our nursing organization. Tasks you will work with include nursing, dressings, medication management, sampling, documentation, and follow-ups. With us, you will learn to plan and prioritize your work, and you will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge from your studies in practical work.

During your summer with us, you will be part of a competent team of nurses who will guide you so that you can feel secure in your role.

After the summer, we know that you will have gained a good insight into how a nurse works and feel secure in your future professional role. After the summer, we hope you are excited for the final stretch of your education so that you might want to return to us for future employment.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be considered, you should be in your 4th or 5th semester of the nursing program. If you have a nursing assistant education and experience in nursing assistant work, you are welcome to apply. We believe you are a cheerful and ambitious person looking forward to new experiences. You dare to ask for your own development and have a good attitude towards everyone you meet.

A driver's license is required.
