We are looking for a support technician who wants to work broadly with user-oriented IT, modern technology, and enjoys learning new things.

You will be part of a small and dedicated IT team that operates under the motto of freedom with responsibility. The position offers good opportunities for development and may over time include more advanced tasks in areas such as automation, information security, and system management. We value curiosity and the willingness to learn, rather than knowing everything from the start.

The workplace is located in the municipal building in Djurås, about 15 minutes from Borlänge, with proximity to nature and good commuting options.

Responsibilities

As a support technician at Gagnef Municipality, you will work with user-oriented IT support and technical tasks within clients, Microsoft 365, and basic IT operations. The role is central to daily IT delivery and involves close collaboration with the municipality's operations and users.

The work includes handling and prioritizing IT cases, troubleshooting clients and IT services, as well as onboarding and offboarding users, including accounts, permissions, and equipment. You will work with Windows clients and mobile devices, Microsoft 365, and documentation in the form of guides, checklists, and procedures. Collaboration with external suppliers is part of the role.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a broad IT background and experience in user-oriented IT support or IT operations. You are accustomed to working in Windows environments, have basic knowledge of Microsoft 365, and can troubleshoot common client and user-related issues. You work in a structured manner, can prioritize your work, and see documentation as a natural part of the role.

You have post-secondary education in IT, or other education or work experience that the employer deems equivalent.

Experience from municipalities or other public sector organizations, as well as knowledge of Microsoft 365, Intune or similar tools, case management systems, iOS/iPadOS, Entra ID, PowerShell or bash at a basic level, as well as information security and access control, is meritorious.

You are service-oriented, solution-focused, and have good collaboration skills. You are communicative, structured, and able to prioritize even under high workloads. You take responsibility for your work and can work independently.

You thrive in a smaller team, contribute to a good collaborative climate, and find it easy to work with many different types of people. We particularly value curiosity, learning, and interest in developing within IT.

Conditions

The position is permanent at 100%. A probationary period may apply. Interviews may take place during the application period. A B driver's license is required for the position.
