Area Manager for Parkfood
Do you want to take a strategic and business-oriented overall responsibility for an operation that significantly impacts both guest experience and results?
Then the role of Area Manager at Parkfood might be right for you! We are looking for an Area Manager for a key role with overall responsibility for leading, developing, and optimizing the park's snack and ice cream operations. The role is tactical and management-oriented with a clear business focus, combining structure, analysis, and follow-up with operational presence in the business. You report to the COO of Food & Beverage and are a central link between daily operations and the division's overall goals.
Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for the operation's results, sales, and cost follow-up. You will lead, coach, and develop Shift Managers and have indirect responsibility for seasonal employees. Through clear guidance, presence in the park, and data-driven decisions, you will ensure that operations, staffing, product range, and opening hours are optimized based on guest flows, forecasts, and commercial goals.
You will work systematically with monitoring key figures such as sales, margin, guest satisfaction, and eNPS, and translate analysis into concrete improvement actions. Together with the Sales Lead & Merchandiser, you will set direction for visual expression, displays, and campaigns, ensuring correct implementation in operations. You will continuously drive improvements in operations, sales, service quality, and flows, ensuring that routines, concepts, and working methods are clear, updated, and adhered to.
The role involves close collaboration with other business areas such as Logistics, Purchasing, Experience, and Marketing to create an efficient, unified, and guest-focused whole.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is a confident, clear, and business-minded leader with the ability to lead through other leaders. You have a structured approach, good analytical skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where decisions are made close to operations. You are unpretentious, collaborative, and a clear culture bearer who creates engagement, accountability, and direction in your teams.
You have relevant post-secondary education in leadership, management, or economics, or equivalent experience. You have several years of experience in management roles within service, retail, or the visitor industry, as well as documented experience in leading other leaders. You are accustomed to budget and result responsibility and have a good understanding of commercial operations, sales, and guest experience. Experience with data-driven work involving key figures and follow-up is a requirement.
