Your Role with Us

As a care assistant, you will have a meaningful and varied job where you contribute to a safe and meaningful everyday life for our clients. A professional approach and a clear customer focus are essential. The work is done in teams with a holistic view of the client and includes care, activities, contact person assignments, and delegated tasks from nurses and rehabilitation staff.

Since the operation runs around the clock, varied working hours and weekend shifts are included.

Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for you who are a care assistant and have a completed care and nursing program or other training that the employer assesses as equivalent. We prefer that you have previous experience in care and nursing. Experience from care homes and training in psychiatry or dementia is an advantage.

Since communication and documentation are part of your duties, you need to have experience with documentation and computers and be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Your personal suitability is important to us, and we are looking for someone who has a positive attitude towards their work. You find it easy to collaborate, are flexible, and have a creative ability to find solutions. You can motivate and inspire others and have a professional demeanor towards everyone you meet in your work.

Allögården's operations will move in March 2026 to new premises at Boulevarden. The move means a fresh start in modern and well-adapted facilities that create better conditions for the operation. The residence is located between the hospital and the short-term unit Stafvre, all situated next to the scenic allotment area. Public transport is nearby, and it is about a 15-minute walk to Kristianstad C.

The municipality of Kristianstad aims to provide care and support tailored to each individual's unique needs and wishes. The Social Services Administration's operations target the elderly and individuals needing functional support, as well as those requiring home healthcare. The operation is functionally divided into four areas: support in ordinary housing, support in care and nursing homes, health and medical care, and functional support. The administration also includes the authority unit, the national gymnasium, and the aids center in Eastern Skåne.
