We are looking for you with a nursing assistant education for a night position at the elderly care home Attendo Ljung located in Värmdö. Ljung has 56 apartments spread over 2 floors, focusing on dementia, somatic care, and respite care. We are a friendly team and with us, you will have the opportunity for professional development.
We are looking for someone who is driven by working with people and making a real difference for our customers every day. You have the ability to empower and support customers in all aspects of their daily lives.
As a person, you are meticulous and engaged with the customers and their relatives. You find it easy to collaborate, have a pedagogical approach, and contribute to a good and pleasant atmosphere in our workplace.
Job Description
Regular tasks within care including delegation for medication, medical technology equipment, aids, etc. We place great emphasis on person-centered care with accompanying documentation.
You enjoy working nights in elderly care, working independently as well as in a team. You thrive on providing good service, creating strong relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our customers. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about caring for the elderly and can see the individual’s needs.
Qualifications
Nursing assistant education of at least 1350 points.
Professional certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare or a certificate from current/former employer regarding permanent employment as a nursing assistant.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language (spoken and written)
Good computer skills/computer familiarity
Driver's license B
Previous delegation experience is an advantage
Previous experience with medical technology equipment/aids such as oxygen concentrators, PEG, tracheostomy, etc. is an advantage
You enjoy providing good service, creating strong relationships, and want to enhance the quality of life for our customers. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about caring for the elderly and can see the individual’s needs. Having a leadership role is stimulating, and you enjoy mentoring your colleagues in health and medical issues.
