District Nurse/Registered Nurse for Home Healthcare in Falkenberg

We are now looking for someone interested in working as a district nurse/registered nurse for our new evening and night team in Home Healthcare in Falkenberg. We hope that you want to join us in developing healthcare together in Falkenberg municipality. During the night, there are two nurses working together. You will work closely with the nursing assistants in the Safety Team, covering the entire Falkenberg municipality.

In Home Healthcare, we have nurses, district nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, nursing assistants, assistants, and managers. Together, we work in teams to meet the patient's needs for an independent life with good quality of life. The teams provide strong collegial support where everyone generously contributes based on experience, competence, and professional background.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a nurse/district nurse, you will work for good and safe care for our citizens who are enrolled in home healthcare, living in ordinary housing, or in one of the municipality's residences. In Falkenberg municipality, we have somatic care, short-term housing, day activities, and dementia units.

In your work, you will go out on urgent and planned healthcare assignments during on-call hours. Your work will be varied as it involves delegating tasks, making urgent clinical assessments in the patient's home, and via phone with care staff in our special housing and in the Safety Team.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in district nursing, geriatrics, or psychiatry. A valid B driver's license is required for the position.
