About the job

Patient transport in Halland is part of the Ambulance, Patient Transport, and 1177 services. The department is located in the following towns: Kungsbacka, Varberg, Falkenberg, Halmstad and performs both lying and sitting patient transports within and outside Region Halland. The job involves driving patients with minimal care needs to and from healthcare facilities and between care units. The daily work is performed alone, where driving, lifting, and transferring patients occurs. Vehicle and station care are included in the job responsibilities.

The work is independent, free, and responsible with great variation in daily tasks. The assignment includes day, evening, and weekend shifts. If you are an experienced paramedic, there is also the possibility of working in an ambulance, which may include night shifts.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has paramedic training or other qualifications deemed equivalent by the employer. A driver's license with C1 category or a B driver's license obtained before 1996 is required. Lifting tests and driving tests will be conducted during the interview.

You have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as good experience working with computers and technical systems. You are an independent and responsible person who is meticulous and attentive to patients' needs. Since you work independently, it is crucial that you are reliable, flexible, and efficient in your working style. No workday is the same, which provides variety while also requiring problem-solving skills. Personal suitability will be highly valued.
