See parts of our reality in our photo exhibition; akademiskafotoutstallning.se (http://akademiskafotoutstallning.se). Welcome with your application!
Our Operations
The VO Rehabilitation and Pain Center consists of three sections: Health Professions, Pain Center, and Rehabilitation Medicine. All sections are characterized by well-functioning interprofessional collaboration, something we are very proud of. We want you to feel welcome with us, and as a new employee, you will be offered guidance, an introductory program, and a professional network with other psychologists. We are experts in rehabilitation and pain but always strive to become even better. A significant focus on research and progress, both within and outside the hospital, is part of this. As an employee, you are an important part of this; it is natural for you to want to develop and drive the operations forward.
Your Mission
You will work as an educational and outpatient nurse, being a part of the operations, together in a team with nurses, physiotherapists, psychologists, psychiatrists, and doctors. Your tasks as an educational nurse include having overall responsibility for planning and conducting training, mainly in acute and postoperative pain for newly hired staff, hospital personnel from other and your own areas of operation. As an outpatient nurse, you will perform regular outpatient work such as telephone advice (ACE) and various medical treatments that you manage/plan yourself or together with doctors. A perioperative outpatient clinic is under construction, in which you will be involved. We offer a very varied and fun job.
Your Qualifications
We are looking for you who are a nurse with specialized training in intensive care, surgery, oncology, or another specialty. You feel comfortable speaking in public. You have several years of experience and are used to handling technical equipment, medications, and treatments. You instill confidence and always put the patient first, being secure in your role as a nurse.
Your Competence
You who apply have a strong commitment to providing patients with the best possible care. You are responsible in your work and take ownership of your tasks, driving your processes in a structured and organized manner. Furthermore, you are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances, quickly changing your perspective and approach. You are curious and want to stay updated in your field; you keep an eye on the world and are happy to share your knowledge. You are a positive colleague who wants to contribute to a good working environment.
We Offer
A permanent position starting by agreement. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays during the day. You will, of course, gain comprehensive knowledge about the various specialties of the Pain Center to get a holistic view of our operations.
