The Role of Segment Manager for Hospitals
As a segment manager, you will be a central function in our marketing organization, focusing on developing and strengthening our offerings within the hospital segment. This is a role for you who want to work both operationally and strategically while leading others. You will be involved in early customer dialogues, steering groups, and ongoing projects, and you will be responsible for a team of approximately five specialized employees. You will work long-term with market, business strategy, and the development of technical support within hospitals and healthcare buildings. Together with your team, you will work closely with departments and our project organizations, where you provide support with specialist knowledge regarding operational understanding in the regions, design and shaping of future healthcare environments, key figures, and not least the complexity of installation-intensive buildings.
The role includes building relationships with customers and partners to develop attractive and competitive customer offerings. In this role, you will also work with feedback through networks and forums both internally and externally. You will report to the head of marketing and segment.

About the Marketing and Segment Unit
The Marketing and Segment Unit is tasked with contributing expertise within selected strategic segments, bid support, visualization, and collaboration. The strategic segments consist of hospitals, swimming pools, security-classified buildings, and housing. Within the segments, there are business and project developers as well as leading specialists, e.g., in design, calculation, planning, and production. The unit works to support all our hospital projects across the country, where some of the hospital projects are within the division specialized in working specifically with large complex projects.
Marketing and Segment has about 40 employees located in various parts of the country, with the majority in Stockholm, Gothenburg, and Malmö.

Your Profile
To succeed and thrive in this role, you have a background of working in medium to large hospital projects either on the consulting, contracting, and/or client side, e.g., in planning or installation management. You have experience in business development and strategic marketing work, as well as an understanding of the healthcare sector's needs and requirements for advanced equipment and installations.
We are looking for someone with leadership experience and the ability to create cohesion even when the team is geographically dispersed. You have a post-secondary education in construction technology or equivalent experience, and a genuine interest in leadership and development. Previous experience as a project manager or construction manager is an advantage. Previous experience in developing structural capital in system support and processes is also an advantage.
You are structured, communicative, and confident in making decisions. Experience with budgeting and digital tools is important, as well as an understanding of planning and the construction process. Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license, are required.

Additional Information
This position is a replacement recruitment where Michael Gustavsson, who previously held the position, is moving internally within NCC to a role as Marketing Manager within the Large Projects Division. The place of employment is flexible, and you will be based at one of our offices. The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement. Your employees are located at several of our offices around the country, and you will need to travel for work to meet customers, projects, and employees. The position requires a B driver's license.
This position will undergo background checks in accordance with NCC's safety culture.
