Security Manager at FMLOG in Arboga

Brief description of the position:

As part of the expansion of tasks and responsibilities within security in the Armed Forces, we are now recruiting an officer for the position of Platoon Leader/Security Manager in Arboga. The position involves work that is both responsible and varied, with the responsibility to build up operations and lead a team.

The team will be responsible for security during the receipt and dispatch of materials, as well as patrolling security of external storage in the Arboga area. In the initial phase, the work will mainly consist of task descriptions and preparations for recruiting security personnel to start the assignment.

The work will involve great variation and the opportunity to create conditions for the team to carry out its tasks.

Main responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of FM facilities and respond to alarms
• Recruit, structure, and lead security personnel
• Establish new operations and develop personnel and tasks
• Develop the skills of your own personnel and maintain their knowledge and skills against set requirements
• Personnel responsibility for both civilian and military employees

The duties of the Platoon Leader can be both physically and mentally demanding.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

• Completed specialist officer training/officer training
• Good ability to understand and speak English
• Trained as a security guard
• Trained in AK 5
• Good physical condition
• Driver's license at least class B

Personal qualities

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability and your personal qualities such as social competence.

The work requires a high degree of personal responsibility, and you are expected to be someone who can drive tasks independently. You are unpretentious, collaborate effectively with others, and care about creating and maintaining good relationships. Furthermore, you are clear in your communication, possess personal maturity, are trustworthy, and attentive.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Completed course "Chief of Prepared Security Forces" with a passing result
• Completed Military Police training with a passing result
• Military driver's license with at least personnel terrain vehicle/minibus
• Trained in Pistol 88
• Trained in close combat
• Trained in IDV
• Previous experience in security service and/or similar security work within or outside the Armed Forces

Employment type: Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period (for those not currently employed by the Armed Forces)

Employment rate: Full-time with on-call duty may also occur

Work location: Arboga, travel to other locations may occur

Start date according to agreement
