The Role of the Nursing Assistant

As a nursing assistant, your focus is on a patient-centered approach; a good experience for the patient in a difficult situation is important to us. Patients in our clinic should receive the right care and treatment at the right time based on their needs.

Your Future Workplace

Our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a general ICU that receives critically ill patients, which means that patients cared for here require careful monitoring, advanced treatment, and nursing care.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant or studying to become a nurse or doctor; individual assessments will be made.

For the job, we require that we review and plan for your introduction together with you before you start your summer position. We hope that you can work at least 6 weeks during the summer period.

Many of the patients are in a vulnerable position, which requires understanding and empathy. It requires you to remain calm, stable, and controlled in challenging situations. It is important that you can work well with others and see your role in the team. You must be able to meet the patient in such a way that they feel secure. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Our Recruitment Process

Since selection, interviews, and appointments are ongoing, we ask you to submit your application as soon as possible, but no later than February 28, 2026. Welcome with your application!

If you are not yet finished with your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or another certificate showing completed courses. If you already have a verbal agreement regarding a summer position with a manager in our organization, please indicate that person's name and clinic in your application.

As of July 1, 2023, the title of nursing assistant is a protected title, and you will need to indicate in your application if you have proof of a protected title. If you currently have a permanent position as a nursing assistant and do not have proof of a protected title, we ask you to attach a certificate of your permanent position in your application to continue to hold the title of nursing assistant.
