The Role of Audiologist/Audiology Assistant

The Ear, Nose, and Throat Department is seeking summer substitutes for audiologists/audiology assistants for the audiology clinic within Region Jönköping County. The audiology clinic operates in Nässjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo, and we are looking for summer substitutes for all three locations.

The work involves diagnostics and basic hearing rehabilitation for adults of various ages. The summer positions are temporary full-time employment during weeks 25-34 in 2025. We would prefer if you can work during several, or ideally all, of the summer weeks.

Your Future Workplace

The staff at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Department takes care of patients with diseases and injuries in the ear, nose, and throat area. We offer care with high patient safety and good accessibility at our ear, nose, and throat clinics, audiology clinics, and sleep apnea clinics. It is important for us to have a person-centered approach, and we are very proud of our medical results, where we have been at the top in national quality registers for several years. In total, we are about 105 employees from various professional groups, of which nearly 40 work in the audiology clinic and hearing technology operations.

The units of the audiology clinic work in a structured manner and aim to develop the quality and evidence of the operations in all processes. This is done, among other things, through teamwork. It is important for us to achieve good medical results and to have a person-centered approach, but also research and the opportunity for employees to realize ideas for development and to drive improvement work. Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed audiologist, or an audiology student who has completed the fourth semester and has passed the course in measurement diagnostics. As a person, you need to be able to take responsibility and have good communication and collaboration skills. You demonstrate good treatment, interest, and attention to detail in your work. You have the ability to work towards goals, focus on results, and prioritize the best interests of the operations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.

If you are not yet finished with your studies, please attach a LADOK extract or other certificate showing completed courses. If you already have a verbal agreement regarding a summer substitute position with a manager at the audiology clinic, you should indicate that person's name in your application.
