RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Data Engineer at Stockholm Water and Waste, you will have a central role in developing and managing our business and maintenance systems together with the business, IT partners, and our suppliers. You will ensure that the systems are robust, cost-effective, and meet legal requirements, internal policies, and expectations from management and owners.
You will be an important enabler in how we use data to make smarter decisions, streamline our processes, and contribute to the company’s sustainability efforts. By ensuring data quality and developing stable platforms, you will ensure that users receive the right information and support, at the right time and in the right way. You are a key player in turning large amounts of data into real benefits, from safer deliveries to more sustainable investments.
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probation period located at the headquarters in Ulvsunda, Bromma.
Your main responsibilities:
- Management planning according to annual cycle
- User support and access administration
- Troubleshooting, incident management, and communication during outages
- Lifecycle management and upgrades
- Work according to security policy and information security requirements
- Requirement specification in dialogue with the business and IT partners
- Maintain and further develop documentation of system architecture and technical solutions
QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant university degree in IT, system science, or engineering, or equivalent work experience deemed comparable by the employer
- At least 3 years of experience in managing and developing data warehouses or business systems
- Knowledge of SQL, SQL Server, and information modeling
- Understanding of integrations and data flows
- Experience with SAP BusinessObjects BI and Qlik Sense
- Very good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form
