JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a chef for the Älgvägen production kitchen in Norremark. We are looking for someone with a few years of cooking experience who can work weekdays, weekends, and holidays. It is an advantage if you have worked with food data systems of any kind. You are a stable person with good collaboration skills and a high sense of service.

You will work in a large team of motivated chefs and meal assistants who daily prepare large quantities of good food for our care recipients in Växjö Municipality. We offer several exciting stations, including a dietitian station, a station where we work in cold conditions, and of course, a large kitchen where we produce about 2000-3000 portions a day.

Your work includes

• planning and preparation of meals
• ordering goods
• conducting self-checks
• serving as well as some cleaning and dishwashing tasks
• ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with a culinary education and secondarily someone with experience working in large kitchens or other culinary training.

We want you to have a strong interest in cooking and to constantly strive to achieve a higher quality in your work and in what you serve. You need to take responsibility for your production, be communicative, organized, and structured, and be used to working in a fast-paced environment. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as computer skills.

We place great emphasis on personal suitability and expect you to be a good representative of Växjö Municipality and the meal organization.
