JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Are you a positive, driven, and ambitious person who loves food and is passionate about providing excellent service to our guests? Then you are the person we are looking for! We need more temporary workers, so apply today!

Temporary workers in the meal organization make themselves available for work and are booked across all our kitchens to cover absences. As a meal assistant, you will prepare salads, bake bread, and create beautiful presentations that showcase our well-prepared food for children and the elderly. You will also serve food, wash dishes, and clean in our kitchens.

If you work as a chef, you will prepare food from scratch with variations based on established recipes. The ingredients we use are of good quality; we only purchase Swedish and/or organic foods and use meat sourced from Sweden. We cook with a focus on the environment and climate, actively work with food waste and production volume, so you should be interested in these areas. Other kitchen tasks may also be included.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for someone with a chef's education and secondarily someone who has trained as a meal assistant or has experience working in a kitchen.

We want you to have a pleasant demeanor towards our guests and good collaboration skills. We value individuals who can see the organization as a whole with a solution-oriented mindset. You should have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form, as well as computer skills. We would prefer if you have a driver's license and access to a car, but this is not a requirement. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and expect you to be a good representative for Växjö Municipality.

Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, which may mean that it takes longer to receive feedback.
