To succeed in this, we are looking for someone who wants to take responsibility for developing and optimizing IT purchases and thereby influence digitalization and innovation within the real estate industry.

As the category manager for IT at Riksbyggen, you will play a key role at the corporate level. You will be part of a competent team of 11 colleagues and report directly to the Head of Procurement. In your role, you will be responsible for contracts, suppliers, goods, services, and processes within your category, and you will drive cross-functional projects that create value and development throughout the organization and for our customers.

We are looking for an engaged and experienced procurement profile with a focus on IT who creates results and can work seamlessly both at a high level and with details. You take great responsibility and have a professional, business-oriented approach to procurement and in relations with the company's internal and external stakeholders.

The position as category manager for IT involves, among other things, working with:

• Developing Riksbyggen's category work within IT by working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders, which provides a broad contact area and strategic responsibility.
• Identifying potential category projects and then prioritizing, initiating, and implementing annual procurements and other improvement projects, as well as developing savings targets for approved activities.
• Responsibility for contracts and supplier base within the category with a strong focus on identifying and managing risks both internally and externally.
• Further developing and improving the procurement process and in this work strengthening relationships with internal clients.

Who Are You?

We would like you to have experience in project management focusing on cross-functional groups and that you are used to driving IT procurements.

You are good at listening and understanding internal clients' needs, collaborative, and proactive with the ability to independently plan, lead, and execute your tasks on time. It is very important to us that your communication and pedagogical skills are well developed, which is reflected in your way of building relationships with colleagues and suppliers.

You will have close collaboration with the business, IT function, and legal, where your ability to create good relationships is crucial.

We Are Looking for Someone Who Has:

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position in a larger cross-functional organization.
• Good competence in contracts, contract writing, and system knowledge.
• Collaborative and able to manage multiple interfaces against different projects and functions, as well as all dependencies and all systems involved, i.e., understanding the complexity that comes with procuring IT solutions.
• Relevant academic education.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
