AjaBajaCancer is a non-profit organization founded in 2018 with the goal of easing the everyday lives of families affected by childhood cancer. Our vision is that no one should feel alone when a child is diagnosed with cancer. Over the past year, we have supported approximately 600 families – and we are continuously developing our support.

Through care, joy, and long-term commitment, we create security in a difficult time. We are now looking for a Corporate Fundraiser who wants to take responsibility for developing and strengthening our revenue from the business community.

About the position

As a Corporate Fundraiser, you will be responsible for generating revenue through sponsors, partners, and corporate friends. The role is both operational and developmental, involving close collaboration with the Secretary General and the marketing function. You will work purposefully with clear responsibility for budget, results, and the development of corporate collaborations. You report to the Secretary General.

You are an important ambassador for AjaBajaCancer and actively contribute to strengthening our brand in the business community.

Your main responsibilities

  • Generate revenue through sponsors, partners, and corporate friends
  • Prospect and identify new corporate contacts and develop existing collaborations
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with companies to create long-term partnerships
  • Develop attractive offers and negotiate contracts with companies
  • Follow up, analyze, and report results of fundraising efforts towards companies
  • Work towards set goals and be responsible for results within your area of responsibility
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvements for increased revenue
  • Promote a cost-effective operation
  • Support the marketing function as needed to ensure clear and attractive messaging
  • Contribute to strengthening AjaBajaCancer's brand and visibility in the business community
  • Perform other relevant tasks for the organization as needed

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who thrives in a business-oriented role with clear goals and is driven by creating relationships that make a difference – both for companies and for families affected by childhood cancer.

We see that you have experience in:

  • Corporate sales, corporate fundraising, or partnerships, preferably within the non-profit sector
  • Relationship-building work and trust-creating dialogue
  • Independent and goal-oriented work towards budget and results
  • Negotiation and development of offers

Preferred: experience with CRM systems and digital prospecting

You are motivated by achieving results and have the perseverance to continue even when the path requires patience and long-term commitment. You easily build trusting relationships, are attentive in meetings with others, and always act professionally.
