Strategic Account Manager at Combitech

Do you want to build and develop business-critical relationships within Sweden's most important authorities? In the role of Strategic Account Manager at Combitech for the Armed Forces and FMV, you will lead strategic dialogues at the highest level and shape solutions that strengthen the country's defense capabilities. We are looking for a business developer with a deep understanding of public actors, complex sales, and value-creating business models - and who thrives at the intersection of defense, technology, and societal benefit.

Your Role as Strategic Account Manager

We are looking for a strategic and business-driven Strategic Account Manager (SAM) who wants to help develop Combitech's relationships with the Armed Forces and the Defence Materiel Administration (FMV). We seek someone who offers new perspectives and drives value-creating dialogues at the highest level.

In this role, you will establish and develop long-term relationships with key individuals within the strategic areas of the Armed Forces and FMV, identify their strategic challenges, and analyze business-driving factors to deepen and broaden Combitech's business relationships with both authorities.

You will work closely with Combitech's various division managements across all our areas of expertise to develop complex customer solutions, conduct value analyses, and highlight business benefits in dialogues with customers.

You will lead business dialogues with decision-makers at the management level and develop and implement Combitech's sales strategy within the defense sector.

Who Are You?

To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with documented experience in driving larger business deals and commitments, as well as the ability to discuss economics, business models, and value creation with customers' management. You have experience identifying and executing complex business deals in large organizations. You also have experience working with public actors and an understanding of their decision-making processes, as well as experience working with public procurement, defense secrecy, and export control.

We are looking for someone who either has an academic background in technology, economics, or political science, along with knowledge of the Armed Forces and FMV's operational areas, or equivalent knowledge acquired through at least 10 years of work. If you have experience working as a Key Account Manager in relevant service areas, this is a merit.

We are looking for someone with a strong drive and outstanding communication skills, enabling you to effectively network and build long-term relationships, both with our customers and within Combitech. You have a desire to challenge customers' perspectives and an ability to understand their needs and challenges. With your analytical skills and creativity, you find solutions that make a difference for our customers and contribute to developing our collaboration.

The position is primarily located in Stockholm, but other locations may also be relevant based on your skills and competencies.

As the position involves work that is subject to defense secrecy, you are required to undergo and be approved in a security review with a background check.
