In preparation for summer 2026, we welcome you to summer jobs in one of our facilities at Högland Hospital in Eksjö, Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, or Värnamo Hospital. A summer job with us means that you help secure both your own and someone else's summer.

The Role of the Radiology Nurse

In the role of a radiology nurse, you will experience excitement and variety in your daily work, as you combine high-tech equipment with important patient interactions. As a radiology nurse with us, you will have the opportunity to work with varied tasks within our different modalities. The more you learn, the more interesting and enjoyable it becomes.

We need substitutes throughout the entire summer job period, which is from June 8 to August 23. There may be opportunities for extension and permanent employment after the summer job within Region Jönköping County.

Your Future Workplace

Radiology is a county-wide clinic with over 380 employees. We conduct modern high-tech diagnostics and offer a wide and advanced range of examinations. At all three hospitals, radiology has state-of-the-art departments and a wonderful community. We work for transparency and job satisfaction. Radiology promotes research and innovation within radiology for all our professional categories.

All radiology departments in the county perform examinations in conventional radiology, computed tomography, fluoroscopy, MRI, and ultrasound. What is special about our respective departments is that:

• Eksjö: here we have radiology at Högland Hospital, but we also have radiology operations in Nässjö, Tranås, and Vetlanda.
• Jönköping: Ryhov County Hospital is our largest hospital that also offers angiography/interventions and nuclear medicine.
• Värnamo: Värnamo Hospital is the smallest hospital in the county but with the same great commitment and state-of-the-art equipment.
• Mammography: a dedicated unit at Ryhov County Hospital focusing on breast cancer diagnostics.
