The Role of Dentist

In your daily work, you will meet patients of all ages and backgrounds. You will perform everything from simple examinations to more advanced treatments on your patients. Therefore, you will utilize your entire professional competence, while the position also requires both curiosity and empathy. We have also begun the journey towards a more digital flow, which is evident in new working methods such as digital healthcare meetings.

As a dentist with us at Folktandvården Region Jönköpings län, you play an important role in our public health promotion work. You work closely with other colleagues at the clinic. You are the one who conducts the long-term overall assessment of the patient.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who are a licensed dentist with an interest in both pediatric and adult dentistry. We seek someone with experience as a general dentist and who is interested in the opportunity for an expanded role in the odontological management function and as a supervisor.

The role of odontological management function involves close collaboration with the clinic manager on odontological issues. This includes expanded responsibility for the clinic's diagnostics and treatments, as well as ensuring compliance with guidelines and routines of an odontological nature.

As a person, we believe you are secure, quality-conscious, and a true team player. We believe you have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Additionally, we see that you have a flexible approach and possess good communication skills.

A driving license (B) is advantageous as there may be travel involved in the position. Personal suitability is of great importance.

The role of odontological management function consists of a fixed-term appointment. In addition, a permanent position as a district dentist is offered.
