The Role of the Nurse

We are looking for a licensed nurse who wants to work with us in the surgical clinic. In your role, you will care for patients undergoing various investigations and treatments as well as planned and emergency surgeries. The tasks mainly consist of pre- and postoperative care and other usual nursing tasks included in our care department.

Your Future Workplace

At Surgery Department A, patients are cared for within upper and lower gastro. There are 24 care places and approximately 50 nurses and nursing assistants work here. Our work environment is characterized by high satisfaction and a good atmosphere in a great team. The surgical clinic operates at Högland Hospital in Eksjö, Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, and Värnamo Hospital. Organizationally, the surgical clinic belongs to the Surgical Care area within Region Jönköping County and has primary responsibility for all patients with surgical diseases. The clinic performs everything from plastic surgery to caring for patients with vascular diseases.

Your Profile

We are looking for a licensed nurse, and we prefer that you have experience working with surgical patients in a care department. As a person, you work well with others and are meticulous, engaged, and empathetic in your personal interactions with patients. You have good initiative and take responsibility for your tasks in a structured way. You are capable of working independently, prioritizing your work, and adapting to changing conditions. We place great importance on personal suitability.
