Description

We are looking for a nurse who wants to work with us in the mobile palliative team at Kungälv Hospital.

We create security and provide support and help at the end of life. We embrace both the patient and their relatives in our work. We work very closely with the municipal home care.

Our team consists of nurses, doctors, and social workers. We have short decision-making paths and close teamwork. We utilize each other's competencies, and the work is experienced as very educational and developing. Our mission is also to spread knowledge and learning to those working in palliative care.

The team is also a link between specialist care and home care.

Responsibilities

As a nurse in the mobile palliative team at Kungälv Hospital, you have patient responsibility and work a lot through conversations, support, and follow-ups. You also provide support for relatives and work closely with home care.

We are looking for someone with a few years of experience as a nurse and a genuine interest in specialized palliative care. You enjoy developing and being developed. You are secure in yourself and in working around dying and death. You are good at creating good contacts and networks.

Qualifications

Licensed nurse with professional experience and training in palliative care/advanced home care is meritorious, as well as education and a few years of experience in oncology and pain management. Significant experience in municipal home care is also meritorious. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. A driver's license is a requirement.
