Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following:

• Wants to work with a man in his 60s living in Luleå.

• Has good knowledge of Swedish.

It is also an advantage if you:

• Have experience in similar work.

• Have a B driver's license.

• Have experience with low-arousal approaches.

• Shares the client's interests in outdoor activities.

• Personal suitability will be highly valued.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is a temporary position at 75% until 2026-03-31 (with the possibility of extension). The position involves work during daytime and evening hours, on weekdays and every third weekend. The working hours are as follows: week 1 Monday 7-16 and Wednesday, Thursday 16-22 week 2 Monday 16-22, Friday 7-16 and Saturday, Sunday 9-22 week 3 Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7-16 Simple assistance, no doubling. Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations according to collective agreement.

Start date

Immediately / by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that prove your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
