Multilingual Center is hiring Arabic Teacher

The Multilingual Center works with educational support, development, and teaching for multilingual students.

The activities range from primary school to upper secondary school.

Job Responsibilities

You will teach students in their mother tongue Arabic according to the curriculum goals. The work includes planning, implementing, following up on teaching, assessing knowledge, and maintaining contact with parents and other educators in the schools.

The position also includes working as a study guide. Study guidance occurs in close collaboration with the school's teachers and is a way for the student to progress with the Swedish language while utilizing the student's previous subject knowledge.

The position may include both in-person and remote teaching.

Qualifications

We are primarily looking for someone with a Swedish teacher certification or another university or college education that the employer deems relevant. You should have very good knowledge of your mother tongue Arabic and good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form. It is an advantage if you have previously worked with children and youth.

A valid driver's license (B) is required as the work may be located at several schools.

The position is a fixed-term employment of 90% during the spring term of 2026 with good chances of extension.
