Bjästaskolan is looking for a F–3 Teacher

Bjästaskolan is seeking an engaged, secure, and structured F–3 teacher who wants to share mentorship in one of our classes.

With us, you will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues, influence the school's development, and help create a safe and inspiring start for our youngest students.

Bjästaskolan is an F–9 school with approximately 400 students, allowing us to offer a cohesive school environment with continuity throughout all years of primary school. The school is located close to nature in the community of Bjästa, with green areas and forests nearby.

For those new to the profession, Örnsköldsvik Municipality has an introductory program for new teachers, which means that during your first year, you will have a mentor. Your mentor is an experienced teacher with the same subject qualifications who can guide and support you.

Responsibilities

You will teach in grade 1 and will have overall responsibility for the student group and manage the documentation and contacts that this entails. Contact and collaboration with guardians is an important part of the work. The assignment involves planning, implementing, and following up on teaching together with a work team.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with a teaching degree qualified for grades F-3.

We seek someone who enjoys being challenged and thinking innovatively, who sees differences and diversity as a foundation for learning and development. You are a secure adult and a clear leader in the classroom. Being a role model and creating a good atmosphere in the student group and work team is a given for you.

We would like you to have experience in leading group processes, the ability to create structure, and to adapt teaching based on the needs of the group and individuals. You are attentive, responsible, engaged, and creative.
