About the Job

As a business developer, you will drive and support business development that contributes to the realization of the Swedish Pension Agency's mission and long-term goals. The work is carried out both independently and in cross-functional teams, depending on the nature of the assignments. You will work within the area of general pension with a focus on premium pension. Since the processes are largely automated and carried out in self-developed core systems, this will also be your focus, and it is important that you have experience and a drive to develop and specify digital solutions.

Your Profile

You have a background in pensions, banking, or insurance, with several years of experience working with insurance or pension issues as well as business and operational development.

In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on your personal qualities and suitability for the position. You have the ability to prioritize and feel comfortable in a role that requires coordination between different contact points, both between internal and external stakeholders. You have a coaching approach and a good ability to build strong relationships and work with others in a group. You can quickly understand and analyze complex issues and problems, making sensible and rational assessments. You are independent and can gather various requirements and drive towards a set goal. You are communicative, easily understandable, and can express yourself very well in both speech and writing.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • an academic degree in political science, law, or economics
  • several years of experience working with insurance or pension issues with elements of business or operational development
  • current experience in leading, driving, and implementing business development
  • practical experience in leading workshops, requirement specification, and business analysis
  • experience communicating complex issues to management, decision-makers, and employees
  • good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is advantageous if you have:

  • several years of experience in driving the development and implementation of automated workflows
  • experience leading complex projects within IT-related business development
  • experience with agile working methods (preferably SAFe)
