Smålandshamnar is one of the region's most important logistics hubs – where shipping, terminal operations, and industry meet every day. We continue to grow and are now looking for a Production Manager who wants to take a central role in driving our development forward.

As a Production Manager, you will have a unique opportunity to work closely with the operations, lead engaged employees, and be a key person in ensuring a safe, efficient, and customer-oriented production.

Your main responsibilities

  • Lead, plan, and follow up on the daily production work in port and stevedoring operations
  • Have personnel responsibility for employees, including performance reviews, daily management, and handling personnel issues
  • Ensure that safety, quality, and procedures are followed – with a clear focus on ISPS and work environment
  • Resource planning: staffing, machinery, terminal areas, and flows
  • Be responsible for operational communication with customers, shipping companies, and carriers
  • Drive improvement work for increased efficiency and better working conditions
  • Handle deviations and solve problems in real-time
  • Contribute to development projects and the introduction of new working methods

Qualifications

  • Experience in leadership, preferably from port, terminal, industry, transport, or similar operations
  • Good understanding of work environment management; knowledge of ISPS and safety management is an advantage
  • Class B driver's license
  • Good Swedish and basic English in spoken and written form
