We are looking for a driven and playful person to work as a personal assistant for a 10-year-old boy. The position includes work on evenings, weekends and school holidays in Lummelunda. We are looking for someone who can work at least 1-2 shifts a week and also fill in during illness and holidays until the end of the year, with the possibility of extension.

About the position

You will be working with an active and playful boy who has Down syndrome. He uses sign language as support in his communication. Your task is to provide him with support in everyday life, as well as to play and come up with fun activities together. The working hours are varied and may include pick-up/drop-off in Visby, which requires a B driver's license and access to your own car.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a great interest in working with children.

• Is non-smoking and can tolerate chlorine and horses.

• Has a B driver's license and access to your own car.

• Is proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Meritorious

• Knowledge of sign language support (TAKK).

• Experience with epilepsy.

• Previous experience in personal assistance or working with children.
