About the position We are currently seeking a personal assistant in Visby for a positive and curious boy who loves fun and outings. He is wheelchair-bound and non-verbal but communicates with his surroundings in other ways, such as through facial expressions and communication aids. The position is a part-time job as needed and during the absence of regular staff. The work is based in his own apartment, and you will accompany him wherever he goes during the day. On weekdays, he has daily activities, and on weekends he enjoys going on outings, but he also likes to stay home and read books, watch movies, or listen to music.  Every day he needs to exercise his body, and you will assist him with a gym program and various rehabilitation aids. He needs help with all daily activities such as hygiene, dressing and undressing, cleaning, laundry, tube feeding, and medication.

Working hours are scheduled as follows:

• Working hours are scheduled around the clock, with awake night shifts. 
• Double assistance may occur. 

About you We are looking for someone who is positive, empathetic, and has great patience. You should be attentive, organized, calm, and reliable. You are independent, flexible, have good teamwork skills, creativity, and enjoy challenges.

As a personal assistant with us, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and meaningful everyday life for our client. You will be an important part of their life and contribute to their independence and well-being. 

The most important thing is that there is personal chemistry between you as a candidate and the client. This can be decisive in the final selection. It is required that you

• Are smoke-free,
• Are proactive and responsible. 

It is advantageous if you

• Have previously worked as a personal assistant. 

Scope: Extra/as needed. Number of positions: 1. Start date: Immediately. Selection and interviews are ongoing, and the position will be filled as soon as possible.  Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensation in accordance with collective agreements.
