We are now looking for a junior Administrator focused on category and purchasing support. The assignment is suitable for you who are structured, administratively strong, and want to work closely with category and purchasing managers in a dynamic and business-oriented environment. The role involves a broad administrative responsibility related to assortment, suppliers, pricing, and campaigns.
You will serve as an important support to the Category & Purchasing Manager and contribute to planning, implementation, follow-up, and streamlining of work processes within assigned categories.
About the role
As an Administrator / Category & Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for administrative tasks related to assortment and purchasing. You will work closely with both internal teams and external suppliers, ensuring that information, documentation, and processes are of high quality.
The role is operational and varied, with many points of contact, and requires good collaboration skills, structure, and a solution-oriented approach.
Main responsibilities
Category and project support
- Participate in and support category initiatives, category and marketing plans
- Actively contribute to teamwork and collaboration within the organization
- Manage information related to assortment on the intranet (product news, internal inquiries, customer requests)
- Handle complaints and product recalls according to established processes
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics regarding back orders and follow-up
Assortment administration
- Update and publish newsletters and intranet information
- Publish product fact sheets and safety data sheets
- Administer and ensure quality of item and supplier files (images, shelf texts, online texts)
- Ensure that correct materials are available and continuously updated
Purchasing, pricing, and supplier support
- Administer price notifications including analysis and preparation for negotiations
- Manage purchasing and sales prices as well as documentation in shared systems
- Administer contracts and finalize agreements in the contract system
- Participate in supplier meetings and provide support before and after meetings
- Maintain and update supplier and contact lists
Campaign support
- Handle ongoing inquiries related to campaigns
- Ensure correct information when changes, additions, or removals of products occur
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:
- Post-secondary education in economics, marketing, purchasing, or similar
- Good administrative skills and a structured approach
- Strong system and IT skills, including MS Office
- Experience in coordination and operational purchasing work
- Experience in contract management, analysis, and preparation for negotiations
- Ability to support business managers in their daily work
- Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
