Sun Salat AB is a rapidly growing company in the food industry. We produce “ready to go” salads, wraps, fruit bowls, etc., and operate in the Danish market. We are located in Åstorp.

Our goal is to deliver fresh and crisp products – as if you made them yourself.

Our partners are spread across Denmark, and we work with short production chains. From order to delivery, it takes less than 24 hours, all to keep the products as fresh as possible.

We are now looking for a driven and fearless purchaser who seeks a career choice with a steep learning curve and a large area of responsibility from day one.

About the position

We are looking for someone who wants to develop in purchasing and take responsibility for the entire purchasing chain. The position is part-time, and you will work closely with a colleague in purchasing – you will not be alone in the role. The work is team-oriented with clear support and introduction.

As a purchaser, you will be responsible for our purchases, which means you will spend equal time in our warehouse and at your desk. The role is operational and requires you to be flexible and ready to solve challenges that may arise during the day.

You will be responsible for driving negotiations and independently entering and concluding agreements with our suppliers. You will actively work to develop and manage supplier relationships and ensure that the contracts meet our requirements for price, quality, delivery precision, and sustainability.

The tasks require business acumen, creativity, and a drive for challenges as well as exceeding set goals.

You will ensure purchases at the lowest total cost, where quality, service, logistics, and delivery reliability are central parts. Furthermore, you will ensure that our purchases comply with internal guidelines and processes and that we maintain our certifications and meet ethical standards, relevant laws, and regulations.

The position suits you who want to combine practical work with strategic thinking in a growing company.

About you

We are looking for someone with experience in purchasing within the industrial sector and/or food, who is used to independently driving negotiations with suppliers and entering and following up on supplier agreements.

You are outgoing, social, and communicative as the work involves many contact points, both externally and internally. You are driven, business-minded, and enjoy making deals.

As a person, you are a quick learner, structured, and stress-resistant. You are not afraid of new challenges or goals and have good analytical skills as well as an interest in numbers.

You have a good sense of how long-term and sustainable supplier relationships are built, while ensuring high quality and competitive prices.
