Service Technician for the Training Operations in Revinge

MSB works for a safer society in a changing world with a focus on the development of civil defense. As of January 1, 2026, we will be the Agency for Civil Defense. The Agency for Civil Defense has two clear roles: we are the leading, directing, and coordinating authority in civil defense, and we are the sector-responsible authority for the preparedness sector of emergency services and protection of the civilian population. Do you want to help strengthen society in preventing and managing accidents, crises, and the consequences of war? Then you might be our next colleague! The Training Operations in Revinge is now looking for a service technician to help us develop and ensure the implementation of training for emergency services personnel and civil duty training.

Your Responsibilities and Tasks

The tasks of the service technician include maintenance, care, and inspection of our vehicles, firefighting equipment, and machines, as well as simpler constructions and repairs. You will also assist with other tasks such as helping in the janitorial service, storage, and property technical tasks. As a service technician, you will provide service to the Training Operations Revinge's students, course participants, teachers, and other staff.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone who has:

• completed high school education
• driver's license B
• several years of work experience from similar tasks
• good knowledge of English

It is an advantage if you have:

• knowledge of our training operations
• knowledge of and competence in heavy vehicles
• driver's license C and driving certificates for forklift and wheel loader
• experience in emergency services
• completed firefighter training

We expect you to be used to taking your own initiatives, be self-driven, and easily adapt to changing conditions. You should have good collaboration skills and be service-oriented with an interest, willingness, and ability to help others. We also see that being structured is beneficial for working effectively.

In all our work, both internally and externally, we will act according to the state value base.

As of January 1, 2026, the current employee and leader criteria will be replaced by the Agency for Civil Defense's approach for employees and leaders: The approaches apply in everyday life, crisis, and war. The three approaches should be seen as a whole and build on each other; collaborative – proactive - action-oriented.

About the Employment

We offer you a permanent full-time position that begins with a probationary period.

Your workplace will be Revinge, and travel may occur as part of the employment.

About Us

The unit's task is to provide, maintain, and project training facilities, materials, equipment, and vehicles. This includes property maintenance, workshop services, janitorial services, and maintaining ongoing contacts with the landlord regarding daily operations and maintenance of premises within the framework of existing lease agreements. We work together with our sister unit in Sandö to streamline and find new ways of working together.
