JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Within both LSS (people with disabilities) and elderly care, we work to provide the best possible support and service to people who need help in their daily lives throughout our municipality. The most important thing to be able to work with us this summer is that you have a good attitude and enjoy working with people.

Our LSS operations have residences in Gärsnäs and Simrishamn. Care and nursing (elderly care) have operations in most villages in our municipality and in Simrishamn. The tasks vary depending on the person you support and may include planning the week, managing the household, accompanying on leisure activities, and providing practical support with personal care, medication, transfers, and training. Some health and medical tasks require delegation from a nurse, and you will receive training in connection with your introduction with us.

We assist people who need home care, meaning elderly individuals living at home but needing help with personal care, cleaning, or social activities. We also support those living in our special accommodations in the municipality, where staff are available around the clock to assist with personal care, cleaning, and social activities. Additionally, we organize day activities that offer various social activities so that individuals can experience valuable content in their daily lives and reduce loneliness.

We are there when the people we help need us.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written; language tests may be conducted during the recruitment process.
• Basic computer skills.
• A driving license (B) is an asset and a requirement in some operations but not all.

As a person, you are:

• Responsible, as we are responsible for people's well-being, it is especially important to be on time, keep agreements, communicate your needs, and ask if you do not understand something.
• Relationship-building, as you will work together with others and for others. You see the value in creating a good atmosphere among both clients and colleagues.
• Flexible, as the daily life with us is varied. You enjoy finding alternative solutions and easily adapt to changing circumstances.
