The finance department, with its 13 employees, has a core mission to support the municipality’s politicians, managers, and employees so that they can deliver welfare to our residents. We are now looking for someone interested in systems, financial data, and processes who wants to contribute to the good development of BI and system management within Oskarshamn municipality.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Oskarshamn municipality is looking for a BI system administrator with a financial mindset, responsible for the management and development of the municipality’s monitoring tool Qliksense and system management of Proceedo. The position is aimed at those who have an interest in financial data and want to work with both ongoing system management and BI development.

In the role of BI system administrator, you will have overall responsibility for Qliksense, the municipality’s BI tool, and contribute to the development and system management of the municipality’s purchasing system Proceedo. The work includes the creation/development of reports and decision-making materials as well as daily system management with a focus on ensuring functioning processes.

The position requires a good understanding of financial flows, reporting, accounting, and follow-up, which necessitates knowledge in finance. You will continuously work on improvements and further development of system support to meet the needs of the operations.

The work with Qliksense involves close collaboration with employees within the finance department, the municipality’s IT department, and system managers in the operations. You are expected to have good analytical skills and be able to identify areas for improvement that contribute to more efficient financial processes and routines.

As a BI system administrator, you will also manage the purchasing system Proceedo, which is done in close collaboration with the municipality’s strategic purchasers. The position is located in the finance department, and you will report to the finance manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our development journey forward and performs your tasks in a thoughtful and self-driven manner through a quality-conscious approach. You possess good collaborative skills and can clearly convey your message based on the recipient's conditions. As a person, you show maturity, stability, and creativity.

We prefer that you have a university degree in system management or finance, or relevant work experience in finance/system management that the employer deems relevant. You can communicate well in Swedish, both spoken and written.

It is a requirement that you have experience in development work within Business Intelligence tools such as Qliksense or Power-BI.

It is advantageous if you have:

• experience from larger personnel systems such as Personec P
• knowledge & experience from larger e-commerce systems such as Proceedo
• knowledge regarding integration with APIs
• knowledge regarding SQL
• experience from working in a politically governed organization
