We are now looking for several experienced Electronics Designers to join us at Etteplan, who will work on developing power electronics for clients in the defense industry. We are looking for candidates with at least 5 years of experience in Electronics Design within power electronics, with experience from the defense, telecommunications, or automotive industries.

Your Role

As an Electronics Designer in power electronics at Etteplan, you will work closely with our clients on projects for clients in the defense industry. You will be involved in everything from studies and concept development to product realization for production. This means you will handle requirements, analyze different design solutions, construct power solutions, including AC/DC, DC/DC, write specifications, integrate, verify, troubleshoot, and support production as needed.

Your Profile

We are looking for a team player who thrives in a changing environment and sees opportunities and challenges rather than obstacles and problems. Flexibility, humility, and the ability to see opportunities should be words you can relate to and enjoy. You should be communicative and humble, and professionally handle our clients and colleagues.

To meet our clients' needs, you should have:

  • A master's or bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Technical Physics, or equivalent experience.
  • Several years of professional experience in detailed design of advanced digital circuit boards with circuits such as FPGA/SoC, DDR memory, ADC/DAC, and Opto, as well as local power converters.
  • Experience and competence in Electrical Design, able to make design choices for fuses, cabling, relays, connectors, terminals, etc.
  • Experience from working with requirements breakdown and specification of designs and systems.
  • CAD competence, preferably Cadence, Mentor, or similar.
  • Experience in testing and verifying the functionality and performance of designs.

Additionally, this position may require you to undergo a security review based on applicable security protection regulations. For positions requiring security classification, additional requirements for Swedish citizenship and good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form apply.

Being a Consultant at Etteplan

As a senior consultant at Etteplan, you will work on exciting and complex assignments where your experience truly makes a difference. You combine the security of a stable employer with the opportunity to contribute to projects that are both technically challenging and span industries that affect people's everyday lives and futures. We see your experience as key to finding smart, sustainable, and effective solutions.

We offer an environment where you can further develop, whether you want to deepen your specialist competence, lead projects, or act as an advisor. With us, you will meet both junior talents and colleagues with extensive experience, and together we drive innovative solutions that benefit both clients and society.

Application and Next Steps

Applications are made by uploading your CV and answering a few short questions related to the position. Selection and interviews are ongoing, so do not wait to apply. The recruitment process begins with a phone interview and is followed by meetings with the responsible consulting manager and, if necessary, additional colleagues. Our goal is for the process to be smooth so that we can take the next step forward together.

Do you feel that Etteplan is right for you? Submit your application today and become part of our team!

The Christmas holiday is here, and we have several exciting job postings during this period. This means we are receiving more applications than usual.
