About the Assignment

We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer with strong expertise in Java, AWS, React, and TypeScript/JavaScript for a long-term assignment in Gothenburg. You will be a key player in an agile development team working on business-critical digital solutions with high demands on quality, performance, and user experience.

The role is fullstack, with a certain emphasis on backend – but also requires deep seniority in frontend development. You are expected to take technical responsibility, contribute to architectural decisions, and be a mentor for other developers in the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and further develop frontend solutions in React and TypeScript

• Develop and design backend services and APIs in Java / Spring Boot

• Work with cloud-based solutions in AWS

• Ensure high quality regarding performance, security, and testability

• Actively participate in architecture and design decisions

• Collaborate closely with product owners, UX, testers, and other developers in an agile manner

• Mentorship and knowledge sharing within the team

Requirements

• At least 8 years of experience in professional software development

• Strong expertise in:

  • React

  • TypeScript / JavaScript

  • Java and Spring Boot

• Experience with AWS and cloud-based application development

• Familiarity with modern state management solutions (e.g., Redux, GraphQL)

• Experience with test automation (e.g., Jest, Cypress, or similar)

• Good communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams

• Fluent in English, both spoken and written (Swedish is a plus)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Node.js

• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices

• Experience with systems that have high availability and scalability requirements
