We are now looking for a Receptionist for Scandic Klara.
No matter why the guest comes to us, few things are as appreciated as a friendly face welcoming them. You act as a host together with the rest of the hotel team, creating a world-class guest experience.

What does the role entail?
As a receptionist, you are responsible for ensuring our guests receive world-class service. You are the hub that ensures the guest is always the focus. You go through the arrival list and pay attention to the details, ensuring that the guest's wishes are fulfilled. You always have a smile on your face and a creative solution up your sleeve. You solve most issues and are a star at turning an unhappy guest into a satisfied one. Your workplace is our lobby, where you meet the most guests. Your responsibilities also include administrative tasks, safety work, and sales activities.
The work in the reception involves checking in and out hotel guests, welcoming them, and providing the information they need about their stay. You manage bookings in the Opera Cloud system and handle administrative tasks related to guests and safety. All work is done with guest satisfaction and sales in focus.
The hotel is open 24/7, so it is important that you enjoy working shifts (mornings, afternoons, and weekends).
Who are you?
To fit into the role, we believe you have well-developed social skills and can handle many different things happening simultaneously. It is very important that you can convey good hospitality to the hotel’s guests.
You also have experience and knowledge in working with a computer as a work tool.
Since the job largely consists of communicating with guests, good knowledge of Swedish and English is a prerequisite. If you speak another language, it is an advantage.
However, your personal qualities and attitude are the most important. To fit into the role, you need to be a responsive and unpretentious team player who takes significant responsibility for your tasks and the overall result.
