Who are we looking for?

We need to strengthen our team at Military Restaurant Bastionen in Stockholm with you as a chef for a 100% permanent position, Monday to Friday 07:00-16:00. Evenings and weekends may occur. We want you to be a positive and eager person who wants to do everything to ensure our guests enjoy their time and who sees opportunities in all situations and finds it easy to collaborate. We are looking for someone driven by the desire to create taste experiences every day and who is genuinely interested in food.

The position includes daily work with self-control, having good knowledge of allergens and being able to account for all ingredients, ordering and receiving goods, as well as waste management. You will also assist in menu planning and inventory.

Since we operate within a protected facility, a background check and confidentiality certificate are required. The background check must be clear, and you must be a Swedish citizen as the operations are conducted within a military area.

Military Restaurant Bastionen, Lidingövägen 24 Stockholm

Military Restaurant Bastionen is located within the Swedish Armed Forces area on Lidingövägen in Stockholm. The operation is responsible for meeting the Armed Forces' need for good and well-prepared food. The unit consists of a military restaurant that primarily serves lunch daily, Monday to Friday. Breakfast, dinner, and evening meals are also served in the dining room where we have a buffet and table service. We also provide a significant amount of catering within the area. Our mission also includes servicing coffee machines throughout the area.

Who are you?

You are over 18 years old.
You have education in hotel and restaurant management with a focus on cooking or equivalent.
You have previous experience working in large kitchens and/or restaurants.
You have the ability to plan and structure work effectively.
Through your passion, you take responsibility for maintaining a high level of service and quality in what you deliver.
You recognize your importance in satisfied guests, are positive, stress-resistant, and find it easy to collaborate and communicate.
You can take initiative and are flexible in your professional role.
You speak and write Swedish.
You are a Swedish citizen.
