Den Gyldene Freden has been serving traditional Swedish cuisine since 1722. Both renowned cultural figures and distant visitors, as well as local regulars, come to our historic premises in Gamla Stan to enjoy the good food and genuine atmosphere – whether for everyday dining or special occasions. We at Den Gyldene Freden take pride in our heritage and continuously work to develop classic flavors into modern dishes. Our philosophy is that good food takes time to prepare and enjoy. Influences come from all over the world, but the foundation is the Nordic kitchen in our personal way, with great respect for ingredients, origin, and craftsmanship. We are now looking for a chef who feels confident in the classic kitchen. We also expect you to be meticulous and dedicated to your profession.

We offer you the chance to work with really good ingredients, a well-organized operation, and a warm atmosphere. We are now looking for a skilled service cook with broad knowledge of traditional cooking. Here, we prepare food from scratch and focus on flavors and craftsmanship. You will be involved in all aspects, from mise en place during the day to service in the evenings.
