We are looking for a Java Developer for Sweden's pension management authority.

This is a consulting assignment. The work location is Luleå.

The position is full-time.

The assignment involves close collaboration with the client, which places high demands on flexibility and teamwork.

The Assignment

The role involves working in a larger development initiative related to NextGen, aimed at meeting and managing new requirements from the Pension Agreement and the Basic Protection Investigation. The work includes extensive changes to existing benefit systems, where systems currently partially managed by the Social Insurance Agency will be fully taken over by the authority responsible for Sweden's pension administration. All development is done in Java, and the role involves both new development of microservices and integrations with a previously Java-based platform.

Responsibilities

Work within the NextGen initiative to meet new requirements from the Pension Agreement and the Basic Protection Investigation

Participate in extensive changes to existing benefit systems

Contribute to the takeover of benefit systems partially managed by the Social Insurance Agency

Develop in Java

Build new microservices

Integrate with a previously Java-based platform

Requirements (Mandatory)

Must have at least 7 years of experience in system development

Must have at least 4 years of experience in Java

Must have at least 4 years of experience in SQL

Must have worked in an agile team with dependencies to others in the last 4 years

Must have experience with transaction-intensive applications with large data volumes, high traffic, and availability requirements

Must have experience in troubleshooting and optimizing complex services

Fluent in both Swedish and English (documentation is done in both Swedish and English)

Experience with MicroServices

Experience with Bitbucket or similar

Experience with Confluence or similar

Experience with Git

Experience with REST

Experience with Jira

Experience with Jenkins pipelines

Experience with Specification by Example

Experience with Postgres

Experience with the Spring framework
