We are looking for a Baker / Production Manager for our artisan bakery – alternatively a consultant with full expertise in baking and pastry.
We are expanding rapidly and seeking a person who can build up the product range, plan production, and develop the business together with us.
Responsibilities
- Drive and plan production
- Bake sourdough, brioche, and pastries (soft cakes, buns, etc.)
- Create and develop new product ranges and items
- Knowledge of costing and profitability per product
- Understand raw material costs and recipe costs (costing)
- Ensure HACCP and hygiene routines
- Lead and support colleagues
- Optimize workflow and efficiency
Qualifications
You should have 100% knowledge in:
- Baking (sourdough, levain, brioche, wheat bread)
- Pastry (buns, soft cakes, simpler cakes an advantage)
- Recipe development
- Cost calculation & raw material control
- Production management
You can be:
An experienced baker who takes responsibility for production
or
A consultant/production manager who wants to participate in the development from the start
